Welcome to the home page of Kansas City's least radio friendly band! We don't care if we EVER get played on the "mainstream" rock stations around here because they are all corporate controlled crap anyway. We WOULD love to get our music out to open-minded people that have an ear for something a little more meaningful and advanced then what you get from current mass media. If you're reading this, then you've probably searched us out and we're glad you're here! Refractor is not yet a gigging band per se, but rather a recording project at this time. We still don't have a permanent "real" drummer - although we have lots of drum machines and computer programs that are more than willing to jam with us. If you like Progressive Rock ala Rush, Yes, King Crimson, Ozric Tentacles etc. then you may like what we're doing. We hope you'll check it out! Thanks - Refractor.
